Don't Give Up, Pray

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Luke 18:1 - NIV

When shadows stretch across your day,

And hope feels like it’s slipped away,

When every step is steep and slow,

And answers hide where you can’t go—

Don’t give up. Pray.

When silence echoes in your soul,

And broken dreams have taken toll,

When tears fall fast and won’t obey,

And joy seems just too far away—

Don’t give up. Pray.

When friends grow distant, hearts grow cold,

And burdens feel too big to hold,

When strength is gone, and skies are gray,

And faith begins to drift astray—

Don’t give up. Pray.

For prayer’s a whisper in the storm,

A fire that keeps the spirit warm.

It lifts the weight you cannot bear,

And tells your heart that Someone’s there.

So kneel beneath the weight you feel,

Let every wound begin to heal.

Though trials come and skies turn gray,

You’re never lost—don’t give up. Pray.
