We'll Never Forget

Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us". I Samuel 7:12

When battles raged and hope grew thin,

The Lord stepped in and fought to win.

Not by our might, nor by our plan—

But by the power of His hand.

When shadows fall and doubts arise,

We’ll lift our eyes to clearer skies.

And there we’ll see, through tears we’ve wept,

The Ebenezer where God has stepped.

Thus far He’s helped, and still He will,

Through storm and silence, loud or still.

We vow to mark each answered prayer,

Each moment He has met us there.

We'll never forget the battles won,

The prayers answered, the rising sun.

Each step a story, each breath a sign—

Of help divine, of love benign.

We will not let the days erase

The memory of His saving grace.

Our hearts will build, our lips will tell,

Of every place where God has dwelled.
