Lord, I Thank You
Lord, I thank You not because my path is clear,
But because Your love surrounds me, steady and near.
When shadows fall and hope seems gone,
Your steadfast mercy carries me on.
I thank You not for ease or gain,
But for Your faithfulness through joy and pain.
Each promise spoken, each word You give,
Becomes the reason I still live.
I thank You not for answers known,
But for Your sovereignty upon the throne.
Though storms may rage and kingdoms fall,
You reign eternal, Lord of all.
I thank You not for fleeting light,
But for Your presence through the night.
Your love unchanging, Your hand secure,
In every trial, Your grace endures.
So let my heart in gratitude rise,
Beyond the limits of earthly eyes.
Anchored in You, my soul will sing—
Thanks to my Savior, my Lord, my King.
