The Sure Foundation
Upon the rock no storm can shake,
A steadfast ground, no fear can break.
Through winds that howl and seas that roar,
The anchor holds, secure once more.
No shifting sand, no fleeting ground,
But endless grace where peace is found.
His cross has borne our deepest pain,
His risen life our sure domain.
When shadows fall and doubts arise,
This bedrock lifts our weary eyes.
Hope stands unbowed, faith’s walls remain,
A fortress built through joy and pain.
Through trials fierce, through nights of fear,
His steadfast love remains so near.
A fortress strong, a guiding light,
Foundation firm through darkest night.
So let the tempests rage and roll,
They cannot move the anchored soul.
For hearts find peace, and lives salvation,
Resting on the Sure Foundation.
Christ, the Rock on whom we stand,
Unmoved by storm, upheld by hand.
The Cornerstone, both tried and true,
Our hope secured, our life made new.
Through trials fierce, through nights of fear,
His steadfast love remains so near.
A fortress strong, a guiding light,
Foundation firm through darkest night.
So hearts rejoice, secure, restored,
In Christ the King, our shield, our Lord.
Forever sure, our hope remains,
The Rock of ages, Love sustains.
