Nazareth, oh Nazareth!!
Cradle of the Savior, Heaven’s chosen place.
Among your hills the carpenter’s Son grew,
In quiet streets, His light broke through.
No palace walls, no crown of gold,
Yet in your soil, the greatest story told.
The Word made flesh, in silence kept,
Where angels watched and prophets wept.
Nazareth, O Nazareth, blessed ground of peace,
From you the song of mercy found release.
The child who played beneath your skies,
Would bear the cross, and bid death die.
O Nazareth, eternal flame,
The world remembers your holy name.
For in your heart, divinity lay,
And through your gift, we walk the Way.
